Joe Nall - the worlds largest RC event is held about 1.5 hrs away from our field! Members from the York County Flyers will typically meet early on Friday morning to caravan and car pool the Joe Nall to take int he sights.

They allow camping Friday and Saturday night (no hookups) and do a nice lunch BBQ.

York County Flyers DLG Festival (16 Jun 2012)

The 3rd annual York County Flyers DLG Festival will be held in York, SC. This event will be held at the YCF Primary field.

Registration fee is $50.00. Your registration fee includes a pilots BBQ dinner Saturday June 16th.

Proceeds from the registration fee will be used to donate to the US F3K team.

This is likely to be the date of the Charlotte Aeromodelers 2012 No Hassle Glider Event.

They allow camping Friday and Saturday night (no hookups) and do a nice lunch BBQ.

This event is a glider focused event. They will likely have winches setup to winch launch your glider and on-field DLG launches will be a routine event this day.
